Our Story

"De propio" is a local expression that means an action or process that is done expressly for this.

We create on demand: Product made to order, once you make your order we produce them on our local factory where our team puts love and care into each one of our products. You' ll get it in a 15-20 days.

We only produce conciusly the amount of pices we’re really going to sell.

Each product is distinct since it is individually handcrafted, which gives it its uniqueness and personality.

Wood has been in our family for 4 generations.

We are father and daughter.

We have joined together in this project so that this craft legacy continues.

Our inspiration

We use solid natural materials and are inspired by the efficiency of vernacular design, where objects are made to service the basic needs of many people. Ours is a contemporary vernacular; combining the local with the global, craft in concert with design.

Raw material

Each of Depropio´s furniture and accessory collections begin with a natural material. We choose these based on opportunity and locality, not fashion.

Makers

We work with a small factory in the pyrenees specialising in a particular kind of manufacturing and larger scale production, Simply put, we choose our makers very carefully. The artistry of every workshop, factory or individual is explicit in our products. It is our mission to reveal the true art of making.
